Midlands and Lancashire CSU Transformation

The challenge

The recent mergers of Staffs & Lancs and then, Central Midlands, have created a 1200 strong organisation which needs to capitalise on its size to increase quality and decrease cost. Additionally the application to the Lead Provider Framework creates further pressure to be able to deliver in a consistent and flexible manner. We were engaged to identify the approach for three key areas: IT, BI and CHC, to ensure that all efficiencies are gained, service delivery is improved and standardised across the patch, plus contributing to the 7% cost saving requirements for this year.
